Lunasea
The bizarre and sometimes scatalogical tg-themed
works of the artist commonly known as lunasea have been drifting around
the web for a few years now. For those fans of his who do not
know, lunasea is, I regret to inform, deceased. His art has
clearly been a
great influence on my own. Though I do not normally post the
works of other artists without express permission, this is a special
exception, as I am the legal caretaker of lunasea's art. You see,
lunasea was my very own father, I'm proud to say.
Before anyone gets to pondering, let me say I was
never used or abused and I had a very normal childhood. I didn't
discover my father's work until well after my own gender issues,
fetishes, and interests had firmly gelled. I guess this is a
pretty good case study of these sorts of things being genetic and not
learned, at least in this case.
Unfortunately, before I could prevent it, most all
original copies (thousands) of lunasea's drawings were thoughtlessly
destroyed after his passing, as is so often the case. Just
about all that remains are the few drawings he scanned and
distributed. If anyone who sees this page happens to have any of
his drawings, please email them to me so that I might compile a more
complete collection.
